In the Registration of Deaths it shows him as 74 yrs old but in the 1900 Census he gave his age as 79 and birth year as 1821 which would make him 85 when he died. birth record below shows 1821. Info from Magdelena his granddaughter daughter of Johan: Jacob was carpenter and a stone mason, he hand carved a Christ on the Cross which stood in front of the Swedish school for years, Leo and Paul went to the swedish school because St Michaels was not completed yet. He also made wooden shoes. cupboards, etc. He brought a statue of Mary and Child with him from Europe it was later owned by his son Jake with whom Jacob later lived.
